There are a variety of sources available when searching for employment training and job opportunities in Kenora. Our labour force is made up of a diverse number of working and available workers with health care and retail trade being the major employers. Centres for skill training have been established to accommodate the diverse work force through adult education and post-secondary schools.

The City of Kenora employs approximately 243 full-time and part-time employees, including truck drivers, labourers, plant operators, clerks, receptionist, accounting assistants, IT staff, lifeguards, mechanics, and customer services representatives to name only a few.  The Human Resources department posts jobs for full-time and part-time openings and, pending annual budget approvals, various seasonal positions.
